Just got the news that another one of my friends have died...thats two this month...and when I heard about Harvey...well it kinda started a ripple effect...I met Harvey the same time I met my first real "grown-up" boyfriend...a guy named Jack from Kansas City...I met Harvey and his brother Leon who ended up married to my cousin...and Pat their sister...she had one of the first Mustangs that came out...powder blue converitable and that is what I got my drivers liscence in...then their Dad, Art...who was a cool ole guy...one time I saw him at the gas station , years ago and I had Butch and half a dozen of my kids in the car and I ask Art what he had been up to ..well seems he was growin' pot down on the river and had a bumper crop...he gave me a fat bag and I toook Butch and the kids to the park to play while I sat in the car and gave the pot a try...LOL...I couldn't move...the old man nailed me...I laugh about it now ...some kick ass smoke...I was there when Harvey joined the Army...I was at my apartment one night and a knock came on my door and there stood Harvey, JohnC. and Dennis G.....all headed for Nam....when Harvey got over there he wrote home and I will never forget when they announced we had finally moved into Cambodia...would have been news to Harvey cause he had been there six months...one more thing I would like to remember about him before I stop...Harvey loved to dance....I have cleared many a dance floor with him...he wasn't very tall and he wore glasses as thick as coke bottles but the boy didn't have a bone in his body and could sure make a gal look good on a dance floor...I loved Harvey...he was a good -time friend...I lost touch so many years ago...life takes its turns...and now today I get an e-mail sayin' he's dead....I hope he was happy in his life..Harve was a nice guy...tonight I'm just going through this box of memories...thinkin' about a boy...a slick dance floor and a long time ago...

sometimes I am so dumb...I ususally don't mind it but sometimes it has its draw-backs......

the kids are asleep and the momma is not home so I have the joint to myself for now...big day off tomorrow and I'm going to bed tonight cause I intend to move around tomorrow...not gonna let my shirt-tail hit my back...I been puttin' lots of pictures in my photo bucket...I travel around the net half the night..lookin at stuff...last night I screwed up my post at Midight's messin' with a code..didn't know it and Midnight's stayed screwed up all day I guess...

I'm gonna get a bunch of these things...so expressive...this one is my favorite so far...I like it up-beat...oh hell yeah!!!
